Rimington is pleased to announce our new Reserve Team Manager, Aamir Zulfi.
Aamir is a former Rimington player and has been involved in local football for many years.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and is well known and respected in the Ribble Valley and Craven football scenes.
Aamir will work alongside his brother Khurram and Adam Whittle who come in as his assistants.
Chairman Terry Braithwaite said "I am delighted to announce that Aamir Zulfi has agreed to take over from the manager's role with our Reserve team. Aamir has been connected to our club for many years, in addition to managing at Grindleton FC. We wish him all the best for the coming season".
Aamir Zulfi said "A key factor was Terry convincing me about the future plans for youth progression and the direction of the club. I am really happy to be leading the reserve team for the upcoming season. The team had a fantastic season last year and I just want to continue with the success and foundations already built. I bring with me Adam Whittle and Khurram Zulfi as my assistants to support me throughout the season, both massively experienced football men. I am looking forward to getting stuck in and the hard work starts Thursday at our first training session".
