A great response from the lads after back-to-back defeats, a change of shape, and team allowed us to gain a good foothold in the game. Plenty of energy all across the pitch, but especially up top from Avery on debut and Dugdale. Dugdale netted himself a first-half hat-trick, which was not more than he deserved for his tireless work rate; he should have had a few more, in fairness.
The message at halftime was to remain professional and see the job out, but it was especially nice to not concede. We added three more goals in the second half and ran out deserved winners. Great job, men.
